Chong Weisheng 35-year-old fined record $99,000 for selling e-vaporisers online

A man has been fined a record $99,000 for selling electronic vaporisers online. The highest penalty previously imposed was $64,500 in 2014. Chong Weisheng, 35, was caught by the Health Sciences Authority's online surveillance team. He had illegally bought the items from overseas suppliers and sold them online. To mask his activities, he changed the domain name of his website twice, required site visitors to use a password, and claimed he was providing "computer IT services".
