Japan's Environment Minister Yoshiaki Harada has said the country is running out of space to store its radioactive water from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear power plant, and the authorities may have to dump the water into the Pacific Ocean -- a move that is highly controversial. Since the 2011 nuclear power plant disaster, Tokyo Electric, or Tepco, has collected more than 1 million tonnes of contaminated water. However, storage for the water will reach its limit by 2022.
